Ozlip help:
|
Ozlip > Help
Overview
-
The aim of the game is to make words, across and down, in a 4 by
4 grid.
-
You play in the left hand grid and your computer opponent, Lex the Lexicologist,
plays in the right hand grid.
-
Letters appear one at a time in the box at the bottom of the game, beside
the "Next" button.
-
Click in any vacant cell of the left hand grid to place the letter
there. Try out different positions.
-
Press the Next button to lock in the current letter and get a new letter.
-
Mostly you score 3 points for a four-letter word and 1 point for a three-letter
word, but you score double for an Australian word.
-
When the grid is filled up, the game is over.
-
When a game is finished, press the Next button to clear the grids and start
a new game.
NOTE: The Ozlip game uses Java. If your Browser software does not support Java, you will
not be able to play it, alas. Some features use JavaScript and/or cookies, but you can still
play the game without these. (JavaScript is not the same thing as Java, in case you were wondering.)
